Palisander and rosewood veneered and the quadrilobed motif  inlaid,is framed by a distinctive double stringing. It includes a small drawer on the left side and a pull-out writing tablette on the front. The top is  Broccatello di Spagna marble.

The refined double stringing surrounding the quadrilobes allows the piece to be dated to the third quarter of the 18th century.
