A Corner Games Table

Description
A Louis XV corner games table, Genoa around the mid-18th century
Details

A refined Louis XV-style piece, this convex triangular table opens like a book to reveal an interior playing surface lined with its original green baize, remarkably well preserved.

The elegant silhouette rests on four cabriole legs, typical of the Rococo style, with curved aprons and two side drawers. Entirely kingwood veneered with rosewood central inlays known as the “heart motif,” it conveys warmth and refined decorative appeal
