Elegantly contoured on both the front and sides, each chest features two large drawers framed by gilt metal mounts. The tops are crafted from fine violet breccia marble.

The geometric marquetry patterns in contrasting woods reflect the refined workmanship of southern Italian cabinetry of the period.
