The front, without crossbars and divided into three large drawers, is finely veneered in violetwood and adorned with the classic Genoese heart motif, here especially rich and elegant.

The original gilt-bronze elements include finely chiselled handles, escutcheons, and corner mounts. The top is made of precious grey breccia marble, shaped to follow the contour of the piece.
