The body is acid-etched through several superimposed layers of glass, a technique typical of Gallé production, creating a soft, velvety relief. The decoration features stylised floral motifs in purple tones, with a refined play of transparency and depth that enhances the naturalistic rendering of petals and leaves.

The slender form and chromatic choice belong fully to Art Nouveau taste, with its characteristic balance between formal elegance and celebration of the vegetal world.
