Attributed to Giuseppe Maria Bonzanigo (Asti 1735 – Turin 1820), sculptor to the royal court. Of refined neoclassical design, richly decorated with foliage and a central urn in gold leaf, set against pale green, cream, and blue lacquered grounds. The top is painted to resemble Bardiglio marble.
