The structure features a drawer under the top, a drop-front compartment and a pair of doors at the base. The entire surface is veneered with kingwood, outlined with boxwood and rosewood stringing. The frieze below the top is decorated with inlaid vegetal scrolls, while the fall-front and door panels are adorned with inlays of cherubs. The uprights, both on the sides and the front, as well as the feet, are richly inlaid with floral candelabra and cherub motifs.
