This large circular table is entirely clad in cedar burr veneer, lending the piece the warm elegance characteristic of this material. The top is articulated with three concentric shapes divided by an ebonised wood line, while the apron is edged with a carved and gilded frieze of palm leaves.

The column capitals are punctuated with stars, and the three legs are joined at the base by a recessed shelf between the supports, surmounted by a carved urn of neoclassical design.
